Installation
Our Ultrabind kits can be laid over existing concrete or tarmac which means a much faster installation with little disruption and can be walked on within 6 – 12 hours. The professional kits can be installed by homeowners with the use of a professional forced action mixer.
** Surface temperature must be greater than 7°C before laying this product.
Application Guide
Easy 7 step process, no forced action mixer required.
1. Pour 100% contents of Part B in to Part A tin.
2. Mix resin components with a drill & paddle for 1 minute.
3. Empty all aggregates in to a mixing tub.
4. Empty all resin in to the mixing tub containing the aggregate.
5. Mix resin & aggregate for 2 minutes using industrial mortar mixer
6. Spread Resin Bound with trowel to a smooth level finish
7. Regularly clean off trowel with cleaning fluidÂ
Tools Required
In order to apply our DIY Resin Bound kits the following tools are required:
• An Electric Mortar Drill & Paddle – recommended for aggregate mixing
• A drill and paddle – recommended for mixing part A & B resin
• A Flooring Trowel – basic knowledge of how to trowel down aggregate mix is beneficial
