It’s a 0.4-0.8mm translucent sand that reduces absorbency, ensuring a smooth and even finish without the sandy appearance often associated with traditional sand additives. Ultrabind Binding Sand is essential for creating resin bound surfaces that can withstand vehicle traffic while providing excellent slip and skid resistance. In tests conducted in accordance with BS EN 12390 – 3: 2009, the inclusion of Ultrabind Binding Sand increased the strength of a resin bound screed by up to 33%. Each bag of Ultrabind Binding Sand is designed to be added to 4 x 25kg bags of aggregate in combination with a 7kg Resin Binder to create a complete resin bound kit.
